The battery lasts about two hours outside considering it’s not being rode for the entire two hours straight. We've had it for about three months so far and I have no complaints. Promising review: "Christmas present for my 8-year-old, I read just about all the reviews before purchase, so I knew what to look for regarding every part of it. Shipping info: Available on Amazon Prime but usually ships within 2–3 days, non-Prime shipping options will still arrive by Christmas (see Amazon's full shipping information here). Easy to use speed gears, and good traveling speed." - Colin J Barely ever gets stuck to where he needs a push, but it can happen. Battery last for a long time as well. I was skeptical because of the big hard plastic tires, but they work great! He mostly uses it in the yard to avoid wear because they will wear down faster on the driveway or road. This has been left out in the rain and sun, and color isn't fading one bit, stickers are still all in-tact, and runs smooth. Took me a couple hours total, but again, it was pretty easy. It is time consuming (mostly putting the stickers on), but it's a big toy with lots of parts. Instructions are easy to read, and this was pretty straight forward if you just follow them. I read some reviews talking negatively about assembly, but not sure what that was about. Pretty easy to put together if you follow the instructions. He goes ripping through the yard all day and night, it's great. Promising review: "My son LOVES this thing so much. Has two speeds (2.5 and 5 mph) but you can lockout the top speed for beginners! Get it from Amazon for $399 (available in two colors).įor ages 3–8 and a maximum of 130 lbs (total). Shipping info: Available on Amazon Prime with six-day shipping, non-Prime shipping options will still arrive by Christmas (see Amazon's full shipping information here). Throw in that LED headlight and this bike is a pretty solid investment in fun! There's a lifetime warranty on the frame of the bike, 60 days on the battery pack, and 6 months on the motor and all other electrical components. The bike weighs about 40 pounds and comes mostly preassembled (you just have to install the handlebar and kickstand). And there's a speed limit control to help ease kids into riding: the low-setting is 6.2 mph and the high is 10 mph (which is pretty darn fast). But, most importantly for parents, the safety features are on point! There's a slow-start throttle so the bike doesn't take off too quickly. First of all, this bike is a beauty! The retro-inspired design and colors are a real eye-catcher. Droyd is a new brand that I had the chance to kick the tires on just as their electric bikes were hitting the market.
